As a professional dancer and cultural promoter hailing from the vibrant city of Cartagena, I had the pleasure of visiting Central during my recent trip to Medellín. Situated in the heart of downtown, this hotel offers a convenient location for exploring the city's lively atmosphere. Although I prefer quieter neighborhoods, the easy access to the metro station was a definite plus.The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the hot water in the shower was a welcomed touch, despite the slight wait. The lack of air conditioning and elevator on the 5th floor might not suit everyone, but the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff compensated for it. The area could be a bit edgy at night, but the presence of police made me feel secure.In terms of value, the hotel offers a great price for its prime location and cleanliness. The staff, though not English-speaking, made efforts to communicate effectively. Central provides a decent stay for those looking to explore the bustling city of Medellín without breaking the bank.
